The Thai Lime & Mango candle features a design of leaves and fruits in black, white and gold that Imperial Candles uses for a variety of their candles. In fact, the Midnight Jasmine candle also featured this design of label.
Burning the Candles
The moment I finished admiring the product packaging and the labels, it was time to burn the candles! I started with Lollipop. It has a wonderful fruity odor dominated by notes of red berries. Some citrus gives it a little zest, and a note of “coolness” in the aroma comes from the unexpected hint of peppermint.
While I started burning this first jewel candle, my sister barged into my room, going, “What IS that?” It was instant, head-over-heels infatuation. She demanded to be present when I burned the next two candles I purchased. Before the first one had even burned down enough to reveal my hidden jewellery, she had already made her first order for Imperial Candles!
The next one I burned was Thai Lime & Mango. It sounded so unique. Together with the mango and lime, the aroma is rounded out by notes of basil. The scent was uplifting, stimulating, and clarifying – good for studying or working on jobs.
Next, I tested out Midnight Jasmine. Everyone who really knows me knows that I am obsessed with jasmine: jasmine perfume, jasmine tea, jasmine soap – I have it all. And now I’ve found my favourite jasmine item! The heady fragrance of jasmine in Midnight Jasmine is highlighted with a trace of rose. I am rather picky about rose fragrances – some I love, others I do not. Midnight Jasmine had precisely the kind I can’t get enough of.
All three aromas I tested were exquisite. And like my sister, I now want to try them all!

Discovering My Hidden Jewellery Surprises!

Fortunately, I’d ordered the same ring size in this candle as I did in the other, so I knew it’d fit. That meant I could appreciate the candle burning down without any anxiety – just excitement at what it would uncover!
