Right after I finished appreciating the packaging and the labels, it was time to burn the candles! I started with Lollipop. It has a charming fruity odor dominated by notes of red berries. Some citrus brings it a little zest, and a note of “coolness” in the scent originates from the surprising dash of peppermint.
While I began burning this very first jewel candle, my sister barged into my room, going, “What IS that?” It was immediate, head-over-heels infatuation. In fact, she asked to be present when I burned the next 2 candles I ordered. Before the first one had even burned down enough to uncover my hidden jewellery, she had already made her very first order for Imperial Candles!
The next one I burned was Thai Lime & Mango. The aroma was uplifting, stimulating, and clarifying – very good for working or studying on tasks.
Next, I tested out Midnight Jasmine. Everyone who knows me knows that I am obsessed with jasmine: jasmine fragrance, jasmine tea, jasmine soap – I have it all. And now I’ve found my favourite jasmine product! The heady aroma of jasmine in Midnight Jasmine is highlighted with a trace of rose. I am quite choosy about rose scents – some I enjoy, others I don’t. Midnight Jasmine had absolutely the kind I can’t get enough of.
All 3 aromas I tested were amazing. And like my sister, I now really want to try them all!

Finding My Hidden Jewellery Surprises!

The ring I received is just as fabulous as the earrings – and by complete coincidence, it happens to match. It is undoubtedly worth ₤30, and I am happy to report that it does fit! I’ve received plenty of compliments on both, particularly when I wear them at the same time.
Luckily, I’d bought the exact same ring size in this candle as I did in the other, so I knew it’d fit. That meant I could enjoy the candle burning down without any anxiety – just excitement at what it would reveal!
